do i put the download homebrew game in the root of the sd card i'm not sure what to do... please let me know ASAP ok? thanks in advance

Put the .nds file anywhere on your flashcard and run it. That's it.
If a program has a folder that comes with it, put the folder in root, .nds file can be anywhere.
