ROM Hack How do i open .sav files from an R4 Clone in Animal Map?

I'm using an R4i SDHC flashcart.
I've looked and searched around but i can't find a way to open my Animal Crossing Wild World.sav file in Animal Map. I've also tried using Shunyweb's Savegames converter but i don't know what to use.
When i try to open my .sav file it says it doesn't understand the game format.
When i converted this to a 512kb .sav it says:
'ERROR: Can't determine version (E or J)
Please try the backup again
If using homebrew set up be sure there is a 64kb SRAM window'

I have no idea what that means. I'm guessing E is Europe and J is Japan, i think i have the US or European version i'm not sure.
Then i tried converting it to a 64kb .sav but it goes back to saying it doesn't understand the game format

If you have any suggestions or help i'd really appreciate it, thanks, i'm new to this stuff.

Nevermind, i realised i had a US version, so i changed to an EU version and it worked. Is there a way to delete this topic?
I've resolved my own problem, finally. aha.
