Hey !

I hacked my switch using ReinX and configured auto-rcm before going in vacation. After I came back, the switch updated to 9.0 and I can't boot my switch anymore. Technically, since I installed auto-rcm, the update shouldn't be installed because the switch boots in RCM mode, but I still cannot boot my switch anymore. When I try to inject the payload, I can see the ReinX logo being shown on my switch, but then the switch crashes or something because it doesn't go further.

I suspect that my switch is out of battery. The thing is, I can't seem to be able to charge my switch anymore. I read online that I need to open my switch, remove the battery, and put the battery back to fix this issue, but I can't seem to get my switch opened. I tried 4 different triwing screwdrivers and it doesn't seem to fit the screws at all.

So does anybody have any advice or any insight on what I can do to fix my switch. or is my switch bricked and it's RIP ?

Thank you !

ReiNX is not yet supported for 9.0 as said on the website. In the meantime you should install atmosphere if you want to get your switch back up and running as it does support the latest firmware.

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar

    nope

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
@Xdqwerty you can use a "spawner" function on any object.

Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)

Easiest, simple way would be just restart scene, but player would restart from beginning.
