I recently downloaded a game but it wasn't in ISO nor WBFS format. It was a WBF format (yes, WBF without the "S" in the end).
None of the apps I tried (Wii Scrubber, Wii Backup Manager) open this file.
I tried renaming the extension to ISO and WBFS but it still won't open.

I tried googling for a solution but the only thing I found about WBF files is that they are commonly known as "Windows Batch File".

Does anyone how to convert this crap to a real ISO or WBFS file?
    Thanks.

Wii Backup Fusion or WiiBaFu. It's easy to use for compiling, converting and extracting Wii ISO and WBFS images. I find it to be less confusing than WiiScrubber.

Thanks for the reply the_randomizer but WiiBaFu doesn't support WBF files.

According to the Features section from WiiBaFu site:
    - Supported formats: ISO, CISO, WIA, WDF, WBFS files, WBFS partitions

I tried to load the WBF file anyway and it gave me an error.
Do you know of any other app that could load and convert this file?

Try to use WIT: Wiimms ISO Tools
    Code:
wit copy game.wbf --iso --dest game.iso
    Something like that

Are you sure it is wbf and not
    WDF : Wii(mms) Disc Format

The command can be written simpler: wit copy game.wbf game.iso
If "game.wbf" is not a valid image, the tool prints an adequate error message.
