how do i add custom lakka cores on my switch ive tried everything

I've been trying for like 2 days im a little knew to that

Haven't use lakka on the switch, but I don't think you'd be able to add custom cores as the only other retroarch cores for switch are compiled for horizon os. You'd have to compile the cores yourself, and I'm sure the cores would be included already if they were compatible.
This is probably way beyond your scope though.
