Hacking How can i update to the latest firmware and keep my cfw?

I'm on an old 2ds with firmware 10.7, im worried about updating because i don't know what i need to do to keep my cfw. Do i need to get the latest luma update and update b9s im confused.
I followed this guide to get cfw

1st. NEVER FOLLOW VIDEO GUIDES they are way out of date, and the a9lh could of bricked your system

My sd card corrupted at the end when I moved files to my computer. Is there anyway to get all this stuff back? I saved my old files before going to b9s.

download the 7z from https://github.com/AuroraWright/Luma3DS/releases and place the boot.firm from inside it on your SD card
put the boot.3dsx from https://github.com/fincs/new-hbmenu/releases on your SD card
then follow https://3ds.hacks.guide/finalizing-setup

Since you have A9LH you could update to the latest firmware and not have anything to worry about, but update to B9S because that's the current exploit and you need it for the latest version of Luma. But there would be not much of a problem if you left your Luma and A9LH alone, and just updated to (latest) 11.6 FW.

Format the card and copy the files back on?
Always remember to safely eject external drives so they don't corrupt.
