how can i play pc games in windowed mode?

You can try this one, thought it's a little old now, maybe there are new methods and tools, maybe it doesn't work with a lot of games :

It's the reverse of "borderless gaming" from above
But maybe borderless gaming can force games to be displayed in windowed mode too ?

Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)+1 -

Easiest, simple way would be just restart scene, but player would restart from beginning.
