Homebrew Wi-fi

    Okay so I have a simple question.
    Is homebrew wifi posible. I mean is there
    anyone whos made a hombrew thats playable using an
    internet connection? If not, why cant it be done?

    It can be done. "Colors!" even has a wifi gallery you can submit to and download from.

    It's just rare because most homebrew is single-player.

    Oh alright.
    Im just saying. Homebrew could be improved by adding the
    wi-fi feature and some homebrew have it as an unpickable option on
    the menu. I just wondered if it was for glam.

    It needs an active server, which costs money. A lot of the time they'll add some of the basic ability, but never finish/activate it for lack of a stable server.

    ... which uses totally different code, and the chance of two specific homebrew users being close enough IRL is too slim.

    Which has a server for WiFi and wireless connection for local.
    I believe the wireless connection makes an ad-hock network, but it's limited to local people.

    My point is it's not unheard of. Just as Rydian said, it is rare for an application to have it, but it can be done. Colors was already mentioned I was just giving another example.
