Fourthed! Well, the source code at https://github.com/MrCheeze/playcoin is available, sooo... I've made myself a derivative version, which just ups the coins to 300 without any menu display or interaction whatsoever. You just start "BAM 300", blink twice, then leave HBL via the START and X buttons, and... well. 300. What did we expect.

All props and all credit goes to MrCheeze, of course. My derivative is worse b/c it displays no error messages, should things go wrong ever.
