Hacking Help with USB Loader GX on vwii?

When ever i choose a game or anything in settings it just freezes? any idea on how to fix this?
Currently using bulid R1260, but have tried bulid R1256-1257 as well?
I am using a 128GB PNY flash drive formatted to FAT32. The games are in the WFBS folder.

It freezes when you go into the settings? Like game settings or configuration settings?

Configuration Settings. It also crashes whenever i select a game.

Is your SD card set to read only? There's a little switch on the side. Try switching it to the opposite position of what it is currently in and then putting it back in the console and trying again. Are any other homebrew applications behaving strangely?

I'm running the apps folder on my flash drive. Nothing else appears to be working strangely.

Flash drive, you mean an SD to USB converter?

No there is an option on the homebrew channel to load of off a usb.

USB Loader is not going to load off the same USB it is running from. Put it on the SD card like in the guide I made: https://gbatemp.net/threads/the-definitive-vwii-hacking-guide.425852/

CJB : The loader can load games without issue if the program is located on the same device and partition than the games.

If it freezes, it could be an issue with the flash (flashdrives are known for incompatibilities), or the partition (corrupted file system), or not enough power ! (use a Y-cable, even for flash maybe).
You said it's NOT a FAT32, so is it NTFS ? or Ext ? or something else?

Reading Usb loader gx off an sd card solved the issue. My flash drive not being formatted to fat32 was a typo.
