1. Press the Start button on the bottom left corner.
2. Click on Run...
3. Type in CMD and press OK.
4. Drag the freethewads file into the window and it should automatically type some stuff.
5. Press space once on your keyboard.
6. Then drag the .wad file into the window and press enter.
7. It should say "For Freeeeeeedom" when finished.
I think it converts it to PAL, or it makes it region free, for everyone. Not sure. But it works when I converted FF:CC:MLaaK NTSC-U.

I patched Dr Mario and Star Soldier btu i don't know if it works on a NTSC or JPN console.
that does not work for windows vistaSir VG said:Use Kokorazashi's direction. Easy as pie. Or cake. Your choice.
Prime said:This is how i did it if anyone is wondering:
(using vista)
Place the folder freethewads on my desktop
placed the .wad into the freethewads folder
Open up Command Prompt (run>cmd>ok)
type:
Code:cd c:\users\brian\desktop\freethewads
(replace "brian" with your account name)
type:
Code:freethewads mario.wad
(replace "mario" with the name of your .wad to put in the folder)
Done, you should get a prompt that it worked.
I do this exactly and it just tells me cannot open file freethewads
