Hacking Help with EZ 3 in 1 Rumble

I'm using a CycloDS Evolution running 1.54 firmware. I just purchased an EZ 3 in 1. It works automatically without Rudolph's tool with GBA roms and the Opera Browser. but I can't get it to work with Metroid Pinball (or any other game). It rumbles right as I start the game, but the game doesn't recognize the pak.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
