Homebrew Help with custom themes and CtrBootManager/rxtools on n3ds 9.5 emuNAND?

The first time i tried to set a theme i bricked my EmuNAND and i just finished not to long ago getting it back, so can someone tell me how to set a custom theme without bricking EmuNAND? also it's not a big deal but ever sinced i bricked EmuNAND when i use CtrBootManager after the rxtools screen it loads menuhax can i fix this or no? (i can still get into rxtools thats why it's not a big deal and im not sure if it's CtrBootManager or rxtools thats causing this.)
