Hardware Help! Wii accessories with modded wii u

I could please use a little help. Have a modded wii u and I am trying to play tony hawk ride with skateboard. I have this game backed up and on an HDD. I can get the skateboard to sync at the main menu. After I launch usb loader gx it disconnects and I cannot get the board reconnected. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all in advance!

It’s not connecting. When I push the button on the dongle nothing happens.

The original Game DVD installs an Update (IOS) for the Board (below Firmware,under Version 4.0x if this is correct)

On which System Version is your Wii please ?
You said,you have a Backup Version (from an Original Disc I presume).
Please try first if the Skateboard is working.
Please boot the original Disc and try the Board and see if it is ok.

If yes,then please try to change the Game IOS in the InGame Settings for the Game in USBLoader GX.
I am pretty sure it should work with an hermes cIOS like 222 or 223.

...and by the Way,which Version from the USBLoader GX are you using please ?
Has your Skateboard an USB Receiver ?

Usb v3.0 1268 this is on the vwii so it’s up to date. Should I try changing cios for the game? I can’t try the disc because it is scratched pretty bad. Also I have the receiver

I’m not really sure how to change the cios for the game. I select the game, pick settings, cios says global. When I click on it I see -1. Should I just manually change that?

Ok,then you have unfortunately "Bad Cards",because the vWii did not support hermes cIOS so I think there will be no really Alternative/Solution.
