Turns out it is in fact the SD Card, tried multiple other SD Cards, all of them worked except the one I have...

Welp, problem solved, really the only solution I have now is getting a new SD Card, other than that, I already know what I'm supposed to do, thanks everyone.

Format to fat32

Um, so I can't downgrade unless I have Cubic Ninja/OoT 3D right?
Launch the homebrew launcher from the web browser and then install menuhax. Just download the starter kit from smea's github and look at the browserhax instructions. I recomend you to downgrade using julian20's sysupdater (you can check your downgrade files with safesysupdater before attempting to use sysupdater) AND before you setup your emunand, try to get a new sd card. This way you wont need to do a few extra steps to clone your sd data to the new one.

Seems like I can't even hack my 3DS, the browser tells me to update, and I literally can't even use it, and whenever I try to enter Homebrew Channel through browserhax, the browser always tells me to just update.

Setup the tubehax dns. Go to system settings and then internet settings, in your main connection change auto-obtain dns to "no" and then put this as its primary dns 107.211.140.065

Now it says "The internet browser cannot be used at this time. Please check your network environment or try again later."

Then i think you have the dummy browser, you cant do anything if you dont have cubic ninja or oot3d with its patched save

I just found my lost 3DS after a year and a half, just missed how much this scene has advanced and now I'm totally confused because I have no idea of how to install a CFW or how I can downgrade my 3DS version (my version right now is 9.9.0-26U) Could anyone help me out? Close this thread if necessary.

Here's the guides I used to help my friends to downgrade from 10.3 to 9.2

This one is basically using browserhax to get homemenuhax (Didn't really mention Tubehax DNS in this at the time)

For this one, MAKE SURE you obtained the correct region and the correct packages. The MD5s are there for that reasion.

This is for CFW installation

Ok so case closed, I need to get a game or else NO HAX.
Just install homemenuhax, it's free.

Another thing to look out for is make sure you're using latest sysupdater.

Some people got bricks because they jumped the gun and tried downgrading using a prototype ver of it.
A good version of sysupdater is on the downgrade guide

When I scanned the QR Code the 3ds popped up an error saying "The internet browser cannot be used at this time" "Please check your network environment or try again later" Could it be because I don't have tubehax active?

Well that's sad, I'll have to buy a game then, thanks for the help anyway.

It could also have to do with the fact that I have an O3DS. and that Homemenuhax exploit only works with N3DS.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Used Ironfall initially, stuck on step 7, rebooted and used menuhax, it went without a hitch.
From O3DS 9.9.0-26U to 9.2.0-20U.

Boots fine if I remove the SD card.
I proceeded to install my 3DS data on a different SD card and changed my theme to a basic color. From my original SD card: removed Ironfall and theme data used from home menu manager. I overwrote whatever was in the new SD card to my old SD. Now it boots up fine and all my games are here.
Actually have no idea...

Found this.. guess OoThax or Ninjahax is your only choice
What the hell? Just found this post.

Seems like it's just not possible, when I got that weird browser error I'm basically done for, gotta buy a game or else.
