Hi,
I wanted to download it and it was using a downloader to download actual files but since i'm on dial up ...
So does anyone knows a direct link to download DevKit? so i can download them overnight in two weeks.
(if you have a fast internet access, you would upload it to MiHD.net for me!, and if you want to, plz upload the 1.4.4 version)

If not, do you know that if someone uses that setup which gets actual files and give them to me, they work just fine or not?
I mean that i give this 198kb setup file which download the complete ones and get these from him, does this process work?

If you mean the windows install file that automatically downloads the needed files from the server, then yes, it worked fine for me.
I'm just wondering how big it is. I was on dailup my whole life, so I know what it feels like, but shouldn't it be able to download overnight? I could get a 200MB file overnight.

What download manager/accelerator are you using? I recommend flashget.

I had Dial-Up a LOOONG time ago, and I used to download 400-600 MB files.
It only took about 30 hours though... And test says it takes him 2 weeks to download a 180mb File.

I assume he's running extremely slow Dial-up then. (I'm guessing 14.4? I ran 56k Dial-Up a long time ago)

There's some programs out there that can help you with strengthening your connection and stability. I don't know what they are, but I read an article a while back that explained how you could get ISDN (heh, ISDN: It still does nothing) like speeds. (About 110 kbps)

a friend of mine helped me and downloaded it for me.
(it was not possible to use flashget since the installer gets files itself).

so there are tons of files there, which ones should i run first?

If you used the installer, everything's set up already. There's nothing else to do - get programming!

Edit: By my calculations it takes 1.3 hours at the slowest to download 19MB over 56K...
