Im trying to help someone be able to flash their system after an error, they said that "I found a kernel on the site r4isdhc.com for the gold pro placed 3 folders and a file in the root. I may have flashed it but didn’t know but I tried again it said flashcart setup failed and the flashcart wouldn’t go any further. The magnet didn’t work that’s why I was still trying to see if it flashed correctly." They're currently on 11.6, using a regular N3DS. Ask for more information if needed.

Maybe you could try flash NTRBoot on an already hacked 3ds? Follow the 3ds Guide, it's perfect for things like this.
