Here it is.

Can you please show me how to access my home pc remotely from my job...

download ultravnc and run the server on your home pc, then install it at your work and run the viewer, enter your home ip address and there u go

Enabled the Remote Desktop on your Windows XP (and up) machine.

Then on your office computer

Start > Run > "mstsc" (without quote)

enter your IP adress.

Enjoy

This is all of course assuming that your work doesn't block this in their firewall. Unfortunately, mine does = (

You can change the port that you access remote desktop through to a port that your work does not block!

Even better (for me) is www.logmein.com which is free for one pc. Works through a browser over the web on https (443) and most firewalls typically let that through in a work environment. Now if you have a proxy server that blocks logmein.com...well, there's ways around that too!'
