As the title states, I was attempting to install USB Loader. Step one on the guide I was using was to downgrade to IOS36-64-v1042.wad.

I did this......and now nothing works, any thing I try to launch goes to a black screen!

I am on 4.1U.

Will updating to 4.2 fix this and allow me to start over? Or will it simply brick my system?

Can I use my legit copy of NSMB to sstem update to 4.1? And that fix the downgraded IOS?

I hope I have not semi-bricked my system...

I have a NAND backup made with BootMii....
I do not have PriiLoader installed.

yes everything from your NAND backup will be gone.

But its really the best to do is to restore according to me, I hope someone else know a better way.

The default solution for this is: Boot Trucha Bug Restorer via bannerbomb, skip IOS Reload, install an IOS36 with it.

I have bootMii Loaded....SD card was out of structure.

Anyway to navigate without the GC controller?

The reset button resets the system, the eject button is ejecting.

I guess I need to hunt down a GC controller.

Not to sound like a moron.

That would mean copy the Trucha app folder to the root of the card?

Nope just copy the boot.dol from your Trucha folder to your root, that'll work.

I need to fix my NAND backup as it thinks it is for a different Wii.

Also, I can load into Trucha....but no controller responds, even the GC controller.

Just to try, its a longshot. But disconnet the CMOS battery and put it back in again
and just see if it makes any diffrence.
