Yesterday in the evening, I was in a hurry trying to install the Matrix Reloaded Custom Theme on my Wii and install it fine and no problems but when it comes to the Health and Safety Screen, my Wii just freezes a long time and the "Press A to Continue" text doesn't blink and I notice it that I download a 4.0U Matrix Reloaded Theme but my Wii's Version is 3.2U and the worst is I don't have installed Preloader,BootMii, a NAND Backup and of course I don't own a SaveMiiFrii and also I try many Autoboot Discs like going directly to HomeBrew Channel but none of them work....

PLEASE SOMEBODY HELP ME HOW TO UNBRICK MY WII!!!!

how about an autoboot modchip if not then you my friend are screwed buy infectus or send to nintendo

So essentially you went ahead and installed something that is potentially dangerous without taking the necessary precautions by arming yourself with preemptive fixes?

OK first you need to try booting into maintenance mode (at the health and safety warning press and hold (+) and (-) then press A) and see if you can remove the theme from there with Any Title Deleter.
Failing that you need to autoboot Any Title Deleter to remove the theme.

Well i'm trying to do it into Maintenance Mode but still there nothing happens...it just freezes in there with the Press A to Contrinue doesn't blink

QUOTE(blitzer320 @ Jan 11 2010, 07:48 AM) if you have an modchip and it autoboots http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=123708

Have checked out that thread?

To boot in maintainance mode you need a GC controller to perform savemiifree AND an autoboot chip (and the software on the thread above)

just to clear things up:

Hold PLUS + MINUS then press A should open the "maintenance mode".
Savemiifree brings up the "recovery mode"

what about swapping drive with one that got bootmii installed? Could this be an option?

he said he has a wiikey so he should just try autobooting first before he tries doing something drastic like switching the drive and if he had a hard time installing the right theme what makes you believe he can change a drive he may just put a flashed 360 drive in there then come to us for help

(sorry original poster don't mean to make you sound stupid but your previous actions are all i had to go on)
