don't think my autoboot discs would work for him he probably no longer has the diagnostic disc check hack applied....

requirements for my autoboot disc's:
- This is for Modchip's only!!!! or Now with cIOSCORPS any version still installed! (not a Guarantee!)
- Your Wii must be able to read Trucha Signed Disc's!!!!!
- The Disc's are not Region Specific!!!
- The disc's use the ISO Template from Hackmii.com...
- So no Nintendo code is used for the apploader!!!
- The HomeBrew is copyright/TM to respective owners!!
- Diagnostic disc check and rescue menu hacks must be in place!!!! (preloader/priiloader or starpatch)

OK first you need to try booting into maintenance mode (at the health and safety warning press and hold (+) and (-) then press A) and see if you can remove the theme from there with Any Title Deleter.
Failing that you need to autoboot Any Title Deleter to remove the theme.
Technically, if he used AnyTitleDeleter to delete the theme, he'd be deleting the System Menu.

If he could get that far he wouldn't have any problems.

One word: Infectus
I think that one word should be "Broken"

The thread title is misleading as well, the custom theme didn't brick the Wii, stupidity and failure to take necessary precautions did.

Yesterday in the evening, I was in a hurry trying to install the Matrix Reloaded Custom Theme on my Wii and install it fine and no problems but when it comes to the Health and Safety Screen, my Wii just freezes a long time and the "Press A to Continue" text doesn't blink and I notice it that I download a 4.0U Matrix Reloaded Theme but my Wii's Version is 3.2U and the worst is I don't have installed Preloader,BootMii, a NAND Backup and of course I don't own a SaveMiiFrii and also I try many Autoboot Discs like going directly to HomeBrew Channel but none of them work....

PLEASE SOMEBODY HELP ME HOW TO UNBRICK MY WII!!!!

First i'd like to say next time before doing stuff like this make sure you have proper brick protection... aka bootmii....
if you are only able to have bootmii installed as an ios then you should not be doing any system menu mods at all!!!!
just my opinion....

Now on to why I'm posting back another reply!

I think I have a fix for you that does not require an infectus however it does require you to stop whining and go buy an official gamecube controller, no after market!!!! so you can use the SaveMii Free method!!! (google it!) Still requires the trucha bug!, an you must have cIOS249 rev14+ installed on your wii!!

I made a new autoboot disc but this time I used the wii backup disc that's floating around the net!
I fully tested this out for you on my wii by doing somewhat like you did to recreate the problem being that I have tons of ways to recover and I also have a wiikey! As well as 5 other wii's!!!
So in testing I bricked my one of wii's to as close as yours as I could come then I used my idea of making a autonboot disc using the wii backup disc as a base which allowed me to bypass the diagnostic disc check in the rescuemenu using savemiifree method...

the disc is injected with loadmii which is like a very powerful text based hbc!

to get this disc send an e-mail to: kitt050383 AT gmail DOT com
with the subject: wii rescue disc

an auto reply will be sent within 10 seconds to you with links to download the disc! had to do it that way cant post the link here not allowed!

So I recovered my wii with it so you should be able to too!!!!
If you can't then you have done more to your wii then you have said!

ps: use wadmanger multimod or dopios-mod to install the proper system menu back to your wii!!

Also to others please don't distribute the e-mail address or the links... physically link back to this post or my autoboot brick fixing post where I will post this soon!

If you have a GC controller, you have a SaveMiiFrii... SaveMii is a (very expensive!!!) dongle...

Get one of the autoboot discs, burn it to a DVD-R (NOT + or RW! (or DL))...
Then, take the front off of your GC controller (need a TriWing screwdriver for official controllers (or, use a jeweler's flat-head screwdriver like I did))
Hold the 4 directions of the GC controller's D-Pad down at the same time, put in the disc that your burnt, and turn on the power button... (keep holding the d-pad)
That is the SaveMiiFrii method...

Do you mean when I do the SaveMiiFrii method, I don't need anything but an origianal GC controller???

Original GC Controllers must be open to use SaveMiiFrii. Controller from third parties not.
Oh!, thanks a lot

but do you have any Video how to mod a Original GC Controller because I saw them everywhere but I can't understand how it is.
