So recently I was playing a lot of fire emblem fates and I just finished Birthright 2 days a go or so and passed to the next path which is conquest. I had like 10+ hours on it and then this happend: My friend asked me if he could try playing the game and I accepted. I didn't think about the fact that he was a little bit unexperienced with Nintendo games (He only plays games like CS:GO, LOL, Dota 2 etc.) and when he started he's new game he accidentally saved his game on my save file! Is there anyway to recover my save or am I screwed?

tl;dr:
Lost my fire emblem fates save by saving a game on that save file, anyway to recover?

Specs: New 3DS XL with A9LH

Is it the fire emblem eShop version? If it's the case, have you recently make a backup of the sd card? Else..... X_X
Nope. Unless you've had a backup of it before, rip your Fire Emblem save.
Well, Sh*t. Then I guess it means I need to start from scratch (I hate my friends XD). Thanks for trying to help anyway :) and now I'll go break my 3ds :hateit:

It remind me pokémon on the gameboy, with the unique save slot.... XD
edit: you can use cheat code or save data editor "to speed up" the recovery....

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    nope
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:

Squeeze your cheeks twice to answer calls!
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
@Xdqwerty you can use a "spawner" function on any object.

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)

Easiest, simple way would be just restart scene, but player would restart from beginning.
