Hacking HD Problem?

Hi,
So im having problems playing games from my hd. I formatted it to fat32 and loaded games with wii backup manager (to wbfs) plugged it into wii but the games wont display using any of the loaders.. it either freezes or shows an error message after loading for quite a while? any suggestions on where to go from here?

Is the usb drive plugged into the usb port nearest the edge?

Provide some more info like.... What error do you get? What HDD do you have? What loaders are you trying?

There's also an HDD compatability list, confirm it's compatible with the Wii.
