Rune Factory is like Harvest Moon except that it has action (like sword killing monsters)

So pick! Rune Factory or Harvest Moon?

erm do you want it for the ds? If yes its not that accurate to use Wii videos to compare with a DS video

The first "Harvest Moon" game I've played was RF. It was very fun, though the first 5 hours or so was very boring.

Right after I beat the 1st Rune Factory, I went and played Harvest Moon DS. I haven;t gone too far into it, but I didn't like it as much.

Then I tried Island of Happiness, and was even more disappointed with the crazy stamina system.


Until I play Friends of Mineral town, or other older HM games, Rune Factory is the better game for me.

Bah its just which series is better.

For me... i've never like, "gotten into" a harvest moon... something about it, i dunno... i just can't pick it up. no matter how much play... i just feel like i "dont get it". not the concept... but just the gameplay.

rune factory on the other hand, i felt like i knew what i was doing.

does that make sense?


my favourite game though was Innocent life: futuristic harvest moon.

I would have to choose Harvest Moon, though I seriously think they should make a Harvest Moon with some Animal Crossing features like personal errands, which would make it much less repetitive.

I like Harvest Moon but I get bored very quickly playing that, so I voted Rune Factory, its a little more RPG-ish so I enjoy it more.

Here's my opinion.

Rune Factory - Boring in the early levels, great game after leveling up.

Harvest Moon - Just plain boring. It never caught my attention.

Harvet Moon Back to Nature, nothing is better than that one IMO

But you see, A wonderful life and Save The homeland are shats, but Rune Factory is a tad slow, I dunno, Harvest Moon maybe?
