[HARDMOD] Programming TSOP without Softmod ?

Todays I need some explanation about the TSOP Flashing.

I've flashed my TSOP the normal way (Softmod -> Solder points -> Flash TSOP -> Desolder points) but i'd like to know if it possible to flash the TSOP without the need of softmodding the XBOX first.

It's possible de program the EEPROM without anything but a cable (and a computer of course x) ) but what about the TSOP ? Is it possible to program it directly using something other than the XBOX itself ?
