Just updated to GW 3D 9.4 and had a quick question

I read or saw somewhere that there was a setting you could change to prevent you from continuously getting the "A new FW update is available" on your emunand screen. Anyone know what it is? Is it just spotpass automatic software download?

When you update emunand do you also need to go into the GW menu and Backup and then Format the emunand? I forgot where this step comes in, when you just update from emunand to emunand....
