So when 9.6 came out I decided to update EmuNand without a backup like an idiot.
Then I thought maybe if I'd wait maybe GW will release an update, well it doesn't look like one is coming, so I best sort this out.

So what would be the best way to go about this?
I'm thinking:
1. Copy Save files (.sav) files from SD card.
2. Format SD card
3. Follow gateway manual to setup EmuNand
4. Somehow update Emunand to 9.5 (through a game maybe? Majora's mask?)
5. Copy over Save files to SD card.

So this is it right?
Will my save files work ok?
Or do I need some program to extract/resign stuff?
And I can update Emunand by booting certain games right?

If your using an old 3ds you could use rxtools to dump your ticket.db and inject it into a new emunand. This would depend on your sys nand still being linked so the sd card folders would be correct (hope you understand what i mean). I have read about updating firmware using cia files. This would put you back to where you were without having to redownload/install your cia games if you have any. Probably not explained it the best here but hopefully you'll understand.
