Oishikatta how would I find the IP on my 3DS?
connect('192.168.1.3', 8000)
comes with > connect('192.168.1.3', 8000)
No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it 192.168.1.3:8000
?

Oishikatta I'm sorry, I have no idea what that means.. I'm a noob at this.
I thought the others made it clear that the only reason this works is because we patched NIM to use HTTP instead of HTTPS and pointed it to our servers...
Thanks a lot for clearifying. #113 said "Except the initial 3DS connection ..." and that made me a little confused.
Also, what about man-in-middle attack to hijack this HTTPS connection? I know this requires a valid SSL cert.
Is there any other difficulties besides the requirement for valid cert, for example, 3DS will force check the exact type of the cert like the latest browsers?
Thanks!
You should not attempt this if you do not know what you're doing, there is a very real possibility of bricking your 3DS.
The cert is a custom nintendo cert, we can't mitm it.
please help me, I really want to play some games already.
Dunno about gateway but there's many different ways of upgrading/downgrading. All you really need is a way to install the common tickets and the titles. CIA installing is one way (cia includes ticket and title). This is another. I perfer this method because it's also the Nintendo official way of upgrading the firmware so if we (the scene) overlooked something, it doesn't matter. That's a pity...
Is the way that Gateway create the downgrade payload known by the scene? It is already verified as a safe and easy way to manipulate sysnand.
It should be possible to create similiar payload that let people flash to 9.2.0-20 sysnand.

Well, I don't understand what you're asking me. Those two NTR Threads don't say anything on how to enable it. Oishikatta
[Feature] Debugger: Debugger feature is normally disabled, you can use NTR CFW Menu to enable it, or put an empty file named 'debug.flag' on SD card to enable it automatically.
CFW Menu. Press X+Y in games or Home Menu will show the NTR CFW Menu, to take screenshots or interact with plugins.
Yes, I have 9.2.0-20U on my N3DS. If you install all the USA titles, it doesn't delete the JAP titles. If you swap regions before installing the titles however, it's a brick. That's why you shouldn't attempt it unless you know what you're doing.Got it. Thanks!
I have some further questions.
Is is possible to upgrade New 3DS XL from 9.0.0-20U to 9.2.0-20U, since 9.2.0-20U was never officially released for New 3DS XL?
About region swapping, I heard that securinfo_? is the key for determining a 3DS console's region.
What happens when all titles are replaced by another region's titles, but securinfo_? keeps the previous region?
Another question is, I guess some titles are exclusive to certain regions.
For example, if title A is exclusive for USA region and does not exist in JPN region, is it possible to completely remove this title using our customized response xml file, when we are going to change the 3DS console from USA to JPN?
Thank you very much!
Oooh, look at what was just released,
