Great guide.I did this myself when the game launched.

I think this guide made me dumber. no one gets banned for using the leak anymore. there are self explanatory save manager apps. shit, this whole thing should be self explanatory. I don't even know where to begin explaining how useless this is. see? my iq is still weakening just thinking about it.

So my old 3DS got banned and I just got a new one today. My question is: How safe would it be to use the save from the copy of moon that got me into this mess in the first place? I'm pretty sketched out.

Weird, I used the latest version of JKSM to transfer my save and the game says the save is corrupted. I even passed the introduction and saved on the new game before attempting to restore saves. Seems to be a console-specific issue on my side though.

Oh well, since I hadn't progressed that much in the first place anyway I can just replay the game.

In JKSM, you have to delete secure value of the legit game first before injecting the save from the leak.

I faced the same problem, only deleting the secure value of save then i can inject the save without corrupting.

I've never had to delete any secure value when using JKSM. I've had no issues with it yet.

That was in Save data filer, and you needed to do it after importing, not before

Another person I know had a problem with this. Make sure you launched the game and got to the selecting your language screen first.

TL;DR, therefore just one question:

If you play the game on citra "now", get the retail copy later, can you also inject that ?

Yes, that should be possible although I haven't used Citra with this.

You should be fine to use that one although I'm not entirely sure. Maybe another user can confirm.

People saying adventure starting date will ban you, but the console has its own clock, so does that mean if my perfectly legit 3ds and game has the clock to the wrong day and I play this game, that will ban me?

Yes, you're fine to play online if the date says you started before the release day.

Guys how can I delete the Pokemon Moon leak from my 3ds in order to avoid a ban?

I got the retail cartridge today and made a backup of the save with JKSM to use it with the retail game. But I don't know how to delete it with FBI. I already deleted the leak from the system settings. But do I need to do something with FBI?
