What's the best kit to get for a Jasper? The dash is to new for an LPT. I'm going to have to solder myself, since no-one near me does them any more. (I pretty good at soldering anyways)

Eh, you're using the LTP cable to dump the NAND.

I'd say get a CR4 XL and a NAND-X/JR programmer.
R-JTAG could also still work but for "perfection" sake, get the CR4 XL.

No, I said the dashboard is to new for LPT. Meaning I can't go the easy root.

So, I'm having to go some other root.

I guess a CR4 XL and a programmer it is then. (If I can find somewhere that still sells them)

I've never modded a 360 before, so it's a whole lot of info I've got to read. Sadly, lots of it, is for older stuff, and I didn't want to make the mistake of buying/looking for older stuff.

Thanks for the help!

Dash 1888 to 17502 (the latest) can be dumped with an LTP cable.
I don't know where you're getting that from that you can't dump the NAND on the latest dashes with an LTP cable, but it's bullshit.

I believe MrModchips is a official reseller for TX.
I ordered something from there and it never came into the mail so I personally don't trust them.
TX their website hosts a list of official resellers.

As for install diagrams, the TX forums have them.
RGH is a couple of years old and the CR4 has been out for quite a while.
But with JRunner, you can't really go wrong.

Sorry, it might be because I'm a noob at the 360 modding side of things, and still not fully understanding everything.

I was meaning the whole procedure of modding where you use LPT followed by a 3 wire JTAG for dashboard 7371 and lower.

I've ended up going down the martrix route of things, because that's all I could get my hands on, at a price I can afford. Still waiting on shipping though, so it'll be about a month before I get the parts.

That's the JTAG hack.
LPT cables are used for dumping the NAND, that's completely independent of the JTAG hack.
Also, it's route, not root.
Root is Admin privileges in Unix systems.

I personally prefer Xecuter products.
Quality of quantity.

It should be similar tho luckily.
