After installing the mod, first I recommend restore defaults graphics settings, then change whatever you want.
To reduce performance drops when driving around the city, I recommend overclocking the CPU to maximum.
About disabling dynamic GPU frequency in handheld mode: This is an important point, please, read it!
It was necessary to turn it off. whatever you set the GPU frequency in Sys-clk, the game periodically, for a short time, dropped it to 384Mhz or 460Mhz especially with mod (it is at these frequencies that the game works by default). Now the game without overclocking works only at a 307Mhz, and here a problem appears (although it happens without mod). The game may not start at a frequency below 384Mhz, or if the overclocking is turned off, there will simply be a crash. Be sure to set the frequency to at least 384Mhz for a successful start. In the game, you can set any frequency, but to start the game not lower than 384, remember! =)
About changing presets: It was necessary to do this because the game was not designed to adjust graphics settings on our console.
There are minimal changes in the presets for "Graphics Quality". The most important thing is that the bloom quality for all presets has been increased. For the last preset, the draw distance of some objects / buildings has been slightly increased.
In the presets for "World Shadow Quality" almost everything was reconfigured, in general - the distance of the shadows was increased, the number of cascades, the quality of the shadows were changed, and shadows at dawn were turned on.
In the presets for "Simulation Scale", the distance of cars / pedestrians was increased, but the density was slightly reduced (concerns about the CPU).
In the presets for "Streetlight Quality" and "Vehicle Light Quality" everything was also reconfigured. In general, the distance of shadows, resolution, light range was increased / decreased.
The console will pull out the maximum graphics only with overclocking to the very maximum, and even then with strong drops in resolution and FPS at times.
There is a problem with the dock mode in the game, this is not my fault. When you change any graphics option, the render resolution is reduced from 1080p to 720p. You need to either restart the game, or accept, or use the ReverseNX overlay to quickly switch modes, this returns the resolution.
60 frames per second can be achieved by setting the resolution lower because the game uses dynamic res and does not readjust the frame time when you change FPS limit, it always be ~ 33.33 (for 30 frames). And, of course, for 60fps, you need to set the lowest possible settings.
Be careful with the options "Streetlight Quality", "Vehicle Light Quality" (they are very demanding, by default they are almost completely off), "Car Reflections" (screen space are the least demanding) and "Depth of field".
Also i was unable to return many little things.
