I'm getting error: "The software was closed because an error occured." during launching the game after copy content of ZIP to my SD Card
Without mod everything is working good. Game is working. What I'm doing wrong???
What you're doing wrong? You're not reading OP's first post, just throwing files blindly and expect it to work. And if it doesn't work, instead of checking main post for more info you're asking for help.

Okay, I'll do it =) I also added (in last update) a version of the mod without disabling the dynamic change of the GPU frequency.

Oh, sorry for double posting, i've been think that forum can handle this.
which one do you recommend, im playing primarily docked

Id not want dynamic shit on regardless its not doing anything special and could possibly even waste more battery constantly changing the clock speeds. id assume both dynamic clock speeds and dynamic resolution tend to be more demanding as well due to it always checking if they need to change

If I understand well the "WithDynGPUFreq " version if for those who don't want to overclock in handled mode? Is there a gain of graphics with this?

Is for those who want Dynamic GPU.

No.
Ow, I see... This mod looks good but unfortunately I don't want to overclock.

Is there any change to get a mod at least to play handled at 720p and docked at 1080p? They made it for monster hunter rise and it works perfectly without any OC

you do realize how illogical it is to compare different games like that right? want to compare it to Warframe next which looks better and has better performance than the GTA games even without overclock?

Grand Theft Auto San Andreas – The Definitive Edition - Graphics / Options Mod
For game version 1.0.2

Updates Changelog:

Update #3 [22.11.2021]
  • Showing blood from killed pedestrians fixed
  • Increased pedestrians density for all presets option "Simulation Scale"
Update #2 [20.11.2021]
  • Improved quality of FXAA+ anti-aliasing
Update #1 [19.11.2021]
  • Increased SSAO quality and reduced radius
  • Slightly reduced resolution of cascaded shadows
  • Slightly reduced distance of cascaded shadows and far shadows
    • For all presets the "Shadow Quality" option
  • Increased quality of materials
    • For all presets the "Graphics quality" option except low. Thanks to this, puddles on the road turned on in rainy weather. This also enables water waves from gunfire, etc. Unfortunately, this had some impact on performance / resolution.
  • Slightly reduced LOD distance for high preset of "Graphics Quality" option
  • Slightly reduced the distance of large objects for the maximum preset of the "Graphics Quality" option
  • Minimum dynamic resolution increased from 0.5 to 0.55
  • Added a variant of the mod without disabling the dynamic change of the GPU frequency ("WithDynGPUFreq" in the .zip archive name)
  • Various other minor changes
  • Added a couple of new screenshots showing puddles

Changes:
  • Disabled dynamic change of GPU frequency [Handheld]
    • More on this below. There is a variant of the mod without disabling ("WithDynGPUFreq" in the .zip archive name)
  • Various graphics settings enabled [Handheld / Dock Station]
    • See screenshots
  • Reduced minimum dynamic resolution from 0.825 to 0.55 [Handheld / Dock Station]
  • Tweaked presets for some graphics settings [Handheld / Dock Station]
    • "Graphics Quality", "World Shadow Quality", "Simulation Scale", "Streetlight Quality", "Vehicle Light Quality". More on this below
  • Increased image sharpness [Handheld / Dock Station]
  • Reduced the intensity of TAA anti-aliasing [Handheld / Dock Station]
  • Sun / moon light intensity slightly reduced [Handheld Mode / Dock Station]
  • Increased quality of materials [Handheld Mode / Dock Station]
    • For all presets the "Graphics quality" option except "Low". Thanks to this, puddles on the road turned on in rainy weather. This also enables water waves from gunfire, etc. Unfortunately, this had some impact on performance / resolution
  • Increased grass rendering range [Handheld Mode / Dock Station]
    • Adjustable by the option "Distance Scaling"
  • Sunrise shadows enabled [Handheld / Dock Station]
    • For all shadow quality presets except "Low"
  • Light source shadows enabled [Handheld / Dock Station]
    • Adjustable by last two options
  • Increased depth bias of shadows from light sources [Handheld / Dock Station]
    • To reduce artifacts when shadows are on
  • Improved bloom quality [Handheld / Dock Station]
  • Replaced 1 font identical to the original [Handheld / Dock Station]
    • Only for russian language
  • Replaced textures of loading screens and pause menu background [Handheld / Dock Station]
    • From the PC version of the game
  • Various other minor changes [Handheld / Dock Station]

Screenshots:
Before (first): without mod + overclocking to 1785/921/1600
After (second): with mod + overclocking to 1785/921/1600
I apologize that there are so few, maybe later I will add more screenshots

Instructions:
Unpack the "atmosphere" folder from the archive and put it in the root of the your SD Card, turn on overclocking and start the game.

Be sure to set the GPU frequency to at least 384Mhz for a successful game launch. Otherwise, the game will crash! If you are using normal version with disabled GPU dynamic frequency.

"WithDynGPUFreq" in the name of .zip archive - is a version WITH DYNAMIC GPU frequency, just like the original.
If you are playing in handheld mode and use overclocking, then I do NOT recommend using this version!

About overclocking / performance and more:
After installing the mod, first I recommend restore defaults graphics settings, then change whatever you want.

To reduce performance drops when driving around the city, I recommend overclocking the CPU to maximum.

About disabling dynamic GPU frequency in handheld mode: This is an important point, please, read it!
It was necessary to turn it off. whatever you set the GPU frequency in Sys-clk, the game periodically, for a short time, dropped it to 384Mhz or 460Mhz especially with mod (it is at these frequencies that the game works by default). Now the game without overclocking works only at a 307Mhz, and here a problem appears (although it happens without mod). The game may not start at a frequency below 384Mhz, or if the overclocking is turned off, there will simply be a crash. Be sure to set the frequency to at least 384Mhz for a successful start. In the game, you can set any frequency, but to start the game not lower than 384, remember! =)

About changing presets: It was necessary to do this because the game was not designed to adjust graphics settings on our console.
There are minimal changes in the presets for "Graphics Quality". The most important thing is that the bloom quality for all presets has been increased. For the last preset, the draw distance of some objects / buildings has been slightly increased.
In the presets for "World Shadow Quality" almost everything was reconfigured, in general - the distance of the shadows was increased, the number of cascades, the quality of the shadows were changed, and shadows at dawn were turned on.
In the presets for "Simulation Scale", the distance of cars / pedestrians was increased, but the density was slightly reduced (concerns about the CPU).
In the presets for "Streetlight Quality" and "Vehicle Light Quality" everything was also reconfigured. In general, the distance of shadows, resolution, light range was increased / decreased.

The console will pull out the maximum graphics only with overclocking to the very maximum, and even then with strong drops in resolution and FPS at times.

There is a problem with the dock mode in the game, this is not my fault. When you change any graphics option, the render resolution is reduced from 1080p to 720p. You need to either restart the game, or accept, or use the ReverseNX overlay to quickly switch modes, this returns the resolution.
60 frames per second can be achieved by setting the resolution lower because the game uses dynamic res and does not readjust the frame time when you change FPS limit, it always be ~ 33.33 (for 30 frames). And, of course, for 60fps, you need to set the lowest possible settings.

Be careful with the options "Streetlight Quality", "Vehicle Light Quality" (they are very demanding, by default they are almost completely off), "Car Reflections" (screen space are the least demanding) and "Depth of field".

Also i was unable to return many little things.
Just tried this. Man what a difference. Thank you.

Sorry it wasn't the point.
I know every games have different structures and all. I meant because the game is almost played at 720p and 1080p maybe it's possible to just do a little mod to unlock the resolution

by default the game already runs like shit in handheld at around 540P requiring an overclock already beyond docked speeds for decent performance so idk how you think 720P with default settings is going to be any better.
