Gaming Gradius lookalikes??

Hey, I just love the gradius and games like it. Are there are decent choices for the DS to play? Doesnt have to be space, but just the general theme with upgrades and such.

well theres Nanostray (kindal ike gradius, but its upside down, instead of left to right) and its quite good

I seem to recall there are a few more for the GBA (can not name names though), although probably not right now emulation will be able to take care of all those needs too.

Yeah the other way around is ok too, upside down instead of left to right. Also things that can be emulated on the DS is ok too

Ugh Nanostray is nothing like Gradius aside from being a shooter, yet even the scrolling direction is the opposite.

Since the DS is a GBA too, get Gradius Galaxies/Advance if you want the real deal.
