ROM Hack good homebrew/modded/custom games?

Hi everyone!

I'm getting a flash cart this week and I want to try out some games that I could never try before on my GBA.

I was hoping you could tell me if one can play homebrew/modded/custom games on the GBA. And if so, which are good?

Can I get the BS Zelda games to work on the GBA? What about the fangame, Paralell Worlds? Are there any you folks would recommend?
