So yesterday I played Golden Sun on my 3ds (as a cia file) and I couldn't save my game, because the game was unable to detect backup memory. On Virtual Console it's impossible to create any savestates, so is there a way to fix this problem?

As of I know, no. Some games work with saving (Mother 3, Super Mario Advance 2) but games like Pokémon don't save. I hope someone finds a fix for this.

There are fixes for these things, usually. There's fixes for Pokemon, for example. Did you make the ISO yourself or download it off the web?

It's probably an unsupported save-type. There'd need to be an official VC release with the same type to inject to. In the mean time, you can try https://github.com/mgba-emu/mgba/releases - it's not quite full speed yet, but it's more convenient if you install it as a cia and if you use frame skipping, you hardly notice the difference.

I made mine myself, how would I play Pokémon? I would love to play Fire Red and being able to save.
You can either download CIAs from the ISO or Chaos sites (I have a thread on both sites ;)) or there's a fix documented here. (I believe this is the right link?)

The link is right, but it doesn't work for the GS Games, because the string "D0 88 8D 83 42" isn't in the game :/

Huh... I made my own Golden Sun and Golden Sun 2 CIAs and at least the first is working flawlessly. I haven't played the second yet.

If you care, I uploaded those in some ISO site along with other VC games. Feel free to download them and see if they work for you.

I would like a Predator game "Kill Team" it takes place in the Jungle of the first movie, your team is sent to hunt the predator, using current tech drones and a trained team. Set traps use strategy to hunt and trap or kill the predator.

Ill stick with my Battlefield. Yea a predator hunting game like that would be cool. Esp if you can be Arnold and say "Get to da choppa"
    +1
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Maybe Arnold could do a cameo voice acting, he is the one briefing you on the mission

I went today and looked at a motorcycle someone was selling. I get there and the battery on it was dead, so the guy grabbed a battery charger and hooked it up. He plugged it into the wall, and the motorcycle sparked and started smoking. Come to find out the bike uses a 6 volt battery and the guy had the charger set to 12v. I said sorry to the dude and walked away. I felt bad for him tho.

Not sure I would want something on fire between my legs
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
He ruined it basically. Sad cause it was a decent old bike. It would take more money to rewire the bike than it was worth tho.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Yeah I'm sure at minimum the starter was fried
