Hacking Going to downgrade my mate's wii...Suggestions?

Hey all,


My friend recently did the upgrade to 3.4 by accident and is screwed, but he has HBC Beta 9 installed. So, i am going to downgrade him to 3.2U. So, i was thinking to use the cIOS downgrader, but i heard AnyRegion Changer works well too. So, what do you think?

Also, 2 quick questions:
Does either of these downgraders downgrade ALL IOS's? Or will he always have all Trucha-Signed IOS's?

And # 2:
For the cIOS downgrader, does the installer auto-download IOS249 and downgrade or what?

Guys, i DONT want to be bricking his Wii.

So here's my plan of action:

1)AnyRegion Changer to 3.2
2)IOS Downgrader
3)Shop installer
Ok, so i read the 23rd fix and im doing that. Am i missing anything?

I'm pretty sure that AnyRegionChanger won't work on 3.4, use the Oct23rd fix to install a CIOS (if he doesn't have one already) and use CIOS Downgrader. Then give him the shop and Mii Channel updates

I second that tutorial. While I didn't need to downgrade (still at 3.2u) it did help with getting the loader working correctly. Super easy to follow
