So I managed to snag Guitar Hero III off of eBay for 48.98. Used, though. Still a great snag saving 60 bucks over retail.

Played it on Console. I mysteriosuly missed a few notes. But I took it as lack of skill.

Then I found the most amazing program called Frets on Fire.
Which was great, 'cause I could play it on my laptop in the living room because I needed to stay in the living room with my mom for the week who had her gall bladder removed (lulz too much info).

But I noticed the same mysterious note missing. Huh? But I finished a song with good percentage. HAD to be lack of skills.

But I found out that my guitar decided to NOT CONNECT AT ALL.

Well, my mom got lots better. So I plugged it into the PS3.

Same blasted flashing lights. It wasn't computer or ps3 specific.

Either the guitar is fritz'd or the dongle is.

Looked it up, and many other people had the problem. Developer's fault.

But slickdeals.net let me know that there's an official Les Paul PS3 controller for 27.91. Ordered that babe quick fast and in a hurry.

But then I thought.
I might could pull the switcheroo.
And tell them the one they sent me is defective, and maybe they'll offer me an exchange.
I'll put in my defective guitar and they'll send me a nice new one

But would it work?
