Okeydokey - if this has been covered before, then sorry I re-covered it here...if not, here goes...

1) Go and download the latest Flatmii software from the homepage:

http://www.flatmii.com/news.html

As of writing this is V1.5 and the x86 and x64 drivers.

2) Put windows 7 into "Test Mode" (allows installing of unsigned drivers - like the ones for Flatmii)

Follow the steps found HERE:

http://www.killertechtips.com/2009/05/05/d...ning-windows-7/

If you want to get rid of that annoying "Test Mode" watermark, grab the watermark removal tool (v0.8) HERE:

http://www.mydigitallife.info/2009/01/06/r...nd-server-2008/

Installing / Setup

1) Extract the FlatMii software and drivers to the folder of your choice (e.g. C:\Flatmii).
2) Plug in your mini USB cable into your PC - BUT NOT PLUG IT INTO THE Wii JUST YET!!!
3) Power on your Wii and make sure it's at the Wii menu (if you have BootMii installed, just go to the Wii menu).
4) Plug in the USB cable into the Flatmii USB adapter.
5) Windows will complain there are no drivers - just cancel and go into "Control Panel" > "System" > "Device Manager".
6) In "Device Manager", click on Flatmii - then Update Driver and select the location you extracted the drivers to...
7) Once that's installed, create a shortcut on your desktop to the Flatmii application...
8) Click on "Properties" for the shortcut and "Advanced", click "Run as Administrator" then OK on both windows to close the shortcut properties.

Usage

1) Run the FlatMii application.
2) Be sure that your Wii is booted into the Wii menu BEFORE you plug in the USB cable, then plug the cable in.
3) Load your backup in the FlatMii app and play!

Hope this helps some folks!
