GBAtemp NFTs?

I have been wondering, considering the monumental amounts of public engagement it is guaranteed to encourage, why doesnt GBAtemp launch its own set of NFTs?

It would bring the brand GBAtemp into the web 4.0 and really shift the paradigm!

Such out of the box-thinking could lead to engagement from a completely new userbase with metaverse integration!

This would give real gamers a way to support the community they love and cherish and produce perceived added value!

Please god no. NFTs are already a dying fad, with the value of them dropping day by day. They offer no use to anything and we can already support the site using Patreon. If we do end up doing NFTs, we'll probably lose more money than we'd make

Agreed. NFTs are quite literally worthless even to those who do buy them. If anything it'd also bring quite a lot of hate to GBATemp since it's been publicly seen that people who launch NFTs get massive amounts of hate. So any hopes of trying to support the platform would eventually bring you back to square 1 if not even further back
