GBAtemp IRC Channel Rules & User Guide

#GBAtemp.TA needs to be more well known. Pretty much dead there.

We don't like the fact that channel is associated with GBAtemp.net. Actually, many of us don't like that it exists.

There's plenty of places on the internet where you can go to chat with no rules - but not on GBAtemp.
It gives the network somewhat of a bad name.

e2-3: still efnet? Wouldn't want people to get the channel confused with another channel that has 'gbatemp' in the title. It's just silly to put it on efnet and claim no connection to the other *temp channels in the same breath. There are going to be plenty of people joining the wrong channel on accident and ya'll know it.

irc (for a message board) is usually just a drama factory anyway. Good luck with this one guys.

I wrote a guide and linked to it on the Rules page. You can get to it here. I checked through it and it seems OK to me, can anyone see any problems? Please let me know if there's something I missed.

edit: I expected it pretty much. I vote that Spikey be de-opped for a while (or a long time). He can't handle power in IRC. He doesn't deserve it.

How would you know?
If you expected to be banned then maybe you can't handle being on the channel, it is a privilege not a right.
