i was wondering is it possible to have clock and perhaps battery indicator in the in-game GBARunner2 menu?
Should be possible. Where in the gui would you want it to show though. I do not have a lot of flexibility over the top screen. It's a simple frame buffer.

BUG *Freeze - in the end of Zelda Minish Cap the game freezes (whole DSi XL is unresponsive) after you reach this screen (see screenshot) of Dark Hyrule Castle quest. I tried different settings of the emulator - same result. Only solution was to import the save to my PC, play until next checkpoint and import the new save back to the DSi. Not big problem but still. :)

Also in some of the scenes in the end there was a popping, crackling noise - both on speakers and earbuds.

GBARunner2 version - the very last test version with the sound sync fix.

Could you perhaps share the save you backed up to your pc here so that we can try to recreate it?

This could be the same bug we had in an older build from 2018/2019
