GBALdr is a program written by cory1492 that allows you to flash GBA games (or .ds.gba homebrew) to the NOR flash memory on the EZ-Flash 3-in-1 with a non-EZ-Flash slot 1 cart. It also allows you to manage saves from the 3-in-1. It requires a slot 1 flashcart with full DLDI support, so the G6 Real can't run it yet.

The best source of information is the GBALdr thread at the EZ-Flash forums: http://ezflash.sosuke.com/viewtopic.php?t=4749

I have personal experience with it, if you have any specific questions I'll try to answer them.

Can you translate that from ADHD speak to English? [IMG] Do you have a 3-in-1? A slot 1 cart? What are you trying to do?

GBALdr can dump retail GBA games, but it can't read or write the saves.

You need a slot 1 cart to dump GBA games with GBALdr. I'm sure it would be possible for someone to write a program for dumping GBA games with a slot 2 flashcart (you might have to swap carts 10 times though), but GBALdr is specifically designed for slot 1.

The only other methods of dumping GBA games that I know of require the hardware that was used for flashing old GBA flashcarts. Either a GBA and a cable to connect it to the computer, or an external flashing device of some sort. None of that stuff is very easy to find anymore.

Don't get one until they release the DLDI driver. They can promise whatever they want, but for all we know it could be months before they get around to releasing it.
