GBALdr is a program written by cory1492 that allows you to flash GBA games (or .ds.gba homebrew) to the NOR flash memory on the EZ-Flash 3-in-1 with a non-EZ-Flash slot 1 cart. It also allows you to manage saves from the 3-in-1. It requires a slot 1 flashcart with full DLDI support, so the G6 Real can't run it yet.

The best source of information is the GBALdr thread at the EZ-Flash forums: http://ezflash.sosuke.com/viewtopic.php?t=4749

I have personal experience with it, if you have any specific questions I'll try to answer them.

hmm... no G6... wasn't there a remake tho? like GBALdr SRT or something?

Do you have a 3-in-1? A slot 1 cart? What are you trying to do?

GBALdr can dump retail GBA games, but it can't read or write the saves.

I REALLY want to dump my own games!!!!
I use save send for GBA saves EEPINATOR for NDS saves... so I'm covered.

I don't have a 3-n-1 nor a slot 1 (I have ARDS! SCHWING!!!)

MISSION: BACK UP GBA GAMES!!!

and NDS games too... >_>

hmmm... needed slot 1... I'll keep that in mind when I get either G6 Real, R4, or something...

thnx so so so sos so so os oap aosma ska aks KA SPACE much!!!

EDIT: o ya!

y do I need slot 1?!?! for the storage while game in slot 2?

You need a slot 1 cart to dump GBA games with GBALdr. I'm sure it would be possible for someone to write a program for dumping GBA games with a slot 2 flashcart (you might have to swap carts 10 times though), but GBALdr is specifically designed for slot 1.

The only other methods of dumping GBA games that I know of require the hardware that was used for flashing old GBA flashcarts. Either a GBA and a cable to connect it to the computer, or an external flashing device of some sort. None of that stuff is very easy to find anymore.

Yeah seconded. i was keen on buying G6 Real but they haven't come through on their promises. I'm waiting it out for the moment.
