gba runner 2 muted when going into menu in game

when i play a game and go into menu it mutes the sound for some reason, how do i fix this

Which menu are you referring to? The one that opens when you press the START button, or the in-game menu which opens when you touch the bottom screen? If it's the latter, then that's normal, as the game's audio doesn't run at that state. If it's the first, then which game?

no menu appears when i press the start button so the other one, why does it not run at that state even after i close it

If the game doesn't run after closing the in-game menu, then which game is this? And does it happen with every game you try?

Does turning up the volume fix the issue? If not, then you'll need to wait for GBARunner3 to release.
