Hacking GBA rom forwarders?

I was just wondering if there was a way to just put .GBA's with the rest of the games on the sd card and have them open the GBA emulator when you launch the game from the normal game folder?

No, but you could use iMenu or BAGPlug to basically do that using arg functionality.
