I was trying to follow this tutorial to get pictures off my Gameboy Camera:

http://drx.a-blast.org/~drx/projects/gameb...wto/gbcamguide/

The tool I have available here is a Visoly Flash Advance Extreme linker, but I can't get the software to recognize the GB camera cartridge. Is there a software solution I could use with this linker, or does the hardware simply not support original GB carts?

If it's a Flash Advance brand linker, more than likely it will only function in GBA mode, not GBC mode. You'd need a dedicated GBC save transfer utility that operates at the GBC voltage.

I don't think any GBC-era transfer devices supported USB, but then again I'm not exactly an expert on it or anything. The guys at PocketHeaven might be able to help out more, as many of them have GBC flash linkers.

Any recommendations for a device that will work via USB? I don't have parallel ports.
A parallel port to USB adapter can be had for under 10$...

A parallel to USB converter will not work with a Transferrer II, the most commonly available GB[C] linker.

Though a fellow on 8bitcollective created a USB GB[C] linker...
