Hacking Gateway 3DS working on the New Nintendo 3DS.

Doesn't look like a kernel exploit to me.... Looks like the Sky3DS method but with a much improved software menu for loading the games. (This is just what I've been expecting.) I could be wrong, though.. and I'm sure I'll get a lot of hate for saying this, even if it turns out I am right. -_-

In order to create such a menu, one would need to boot a file (presumably from the SD card in the 3ds), which would enable it to run inside the 3ds firmware (think of it as Lua scripts in games/emulators).

ikr....im like .......every-time i'm a bit skeptical, and every time gateway goes above and beyond what was expected......and all this with no sly "oh buy our 2015 card".........in my eyes now gateway deserve every penny they get, screw the people who are like "why do we need to pay we need free rom loader".....screw that consider it a donation for all the hard work these guys put into making everything they do so bloody impressive

Despite a few shortcomings, this is one purchase I do NOT regret at all.
Playing all of the games on my Zelda 3DSXL, omfg this is great. Marvelous work.

I'm unfamiliar with N3DS loading speeds, was Smash running on N3DS mode?

Games on the N3DS loads slightly faster. Though in game there is no change (framerates, etc) as they don't take advantage of the new CPU.

My biggest question is, if I keep the 4.5 3DS I've got, and proceed to get a 9.2 N3DS. I don't want to buy two gateway cards, I'd like to know If id be able to switch between both consoles at will after the red card has been updated and If not the pro's and cons of each, 4.5 still has the edge. Hopefully I'll be able to switch between both.

Wouldn't make sense as to why you couldn't. So, I would say yes. No mention of them stating that after updating that the card becomes useless for 4.5

Just left a best offer on a Ebay seller for a new 3DS LL after seeing the features like you mentioned that are in the vid. I know for a fact this wont be bullshit from GW, my faith has been restored and I'm back on the train again peeps.

im guessing there will be no need to update the card....it has all the same features as 4.x, so really there will be no need to mess with it, esier for them if they have both FW versions running with the same card...........im just wondering if they might drop the 4.x support all together and just have everyone update to 9.0-9.2

A hacker has taken this exploit and gives you a damn good product back in return, this work is amazing as already stated and gateway deserve every penny they get.

I don't think they'd just ship it to Europe. If you want to import it, you should probably look on Ebay instead.
Btw, I'd personally get an Australian one, but apparently they're mad overpriced now.

Probably not, the card will still run perhaps...
I plan on keeping my second 3ds in 4.5 still.
