I can easily check multirom to know whether or not I'm in emunand, but I heard that going into system settings kicks it back to sysnand (rather than leaving settings, like before).
Is it safe to update through eshop? 'cause I might just do that instead.

Hmm...I see your point. Best try what others are doing, they used the stock SD card to create emunand and claims that the GW does show up in the firmware version. Once that was accomplished the used a partitioning software to copy the emunand partition over to the new SD.

get a nand mod and switch it up if you want eshop access......tbh most stuff like title updates will be available as cia files.........unless you like overpriced games eshop isnt really a big + now we have cia installation

Gateway says it works only up t0 9.2

its just a entry point, still using the same exploits as the browser hack, so blocked on 9.3-9.5 although the save will still probably crash the system, but that will be as far as it goes

guys I got a problem...the system transfer restored my Mii Maker but my CIA saves didn't come though...Savedatafiler is saying FAILURE on all of them!

uhmm..no

fixed it.need to load the game first to create new save that savedatafiler can overrwrite.

Once I started my game and closed it and attempted to use savedata filer on it..then it worked.

My legit games dont show up either in emunand mode which is normal I believe. My multi-rom menu and everything else is working for me. Have you run the diagnostic test via gateway menu yet? Did it all pass?

Guys can I back up my OOT save an use it in Gateway with my dump of the rom? I want to run the exploit, but also want to continue playing OOT and I only have one copy of the game.

Are you using the default 4GB micro sd card? Your firmware version should have "GW3DS" before the numbers which is does not. If you are using a larger card please reformat emunand on 4GB card and you can later inject it into the higher capacity card. Others are having this same problem when using alternate micro sd cards

Also run a diagnostic test and report back.

its working fine for me everyone but how do i get my emunand settigns to show"GW3DS" in the settings so I can know that I'm in the emunand when I try to update?
It doesn't show for me when I click settings when in emunand.. just wanna be cautious.

I tested but not work, the OOT save is a 128kb save, so each time I try to load my backup save with the oot rom it say the save is corrupt...

Zelda Oot have 3 save slots, so maybe a way we can inject our original save slot into the gateway save is possible ?

Or I just wait the new launch solution with Cubic Ninja then I can re-use my oot card.

this is what i really don't understand


WHY DID THEY RELEASE SUPPORT FOR OOT FIRST!

i mean it makes no god damn sense, the CN exploit has been out and known about forever
they showed CN in their GW rom menu in their videos even

i would think they would have had an easier time making it work with CN than OOT
PLUS if they released the beta with CN support instead of OOT support then they would have looked better because they wouldn't have had to tell their customers that not only did they need a hard to find expensive game like OOT but also either an old 3ds or a sav dongle since CN just needs the QR code scanned not a restored exploited sav file

this whole thing is a bit worrying to me, but i just ordered PAL a copy of CN for my imported N3dsXL

im just worried that if it was so easy to make it work with CN they would have done it first before OOT

it seems like a really odd choice for them to release OOT as the game and not CN

unless they figured more people have OOT and it had a much larger production run

i was going to import a OOT till the shit storm broke out about 60% of them not working with GW

CN still seemed like the safer bet and cheaper option too, i got a good deal , $23
