Well it's a German website, so I didn't add a link. I expect there are similar ones over in the us though; it's pretty much just a sophisticated trading forum.

I spent about 25€ in postal fees so far, got about 12 new games for stuff I didn't touch in years. I'm pretty sure, I got more out of it than the pocket change gamestop would have offered me.

I wonder why GameStop in germany still exists. There are many local shops that are much better (Games Garden in Nürnberg, Konsolenkost in Berlin and so on). The latter paid 104 € for my used, but like new 3DS, so my 3DS XL was pretty cheap.

Uh because there's too much demand to buy older games. Not to mention, if they went bankrupt a lot of game developers/publishers would suffer as well as a big chunk of their new games are sold at GameStops and EB Games.

Honestly, GameStop/EB isn't as bad as people make them out to be. It's nice to know that I can go to the store, buy a couple year old PS3 game without having to go online. Hell I bought Kid Icarus Uprising NEW for 20 bucks. If EB didn't have that, I wouldn't have bought the game to begin with.

I honestly don't mind GameStop, although they probably hate me. My Dad & I once traded in about 200 Shovelware games we got out of a dumpster (they were still sealed & brand new), took the lazy ass clerk at my GameStop 3 hours to catalog it, and we got about $0.50 for each game. For free shovelware, I'm not going to complain. The only problem I have with them is their employees. It's really hit or miss with them. Since I've moved, I now have a really friendly GS clerk who I think is the manager. But, if you go in on most Saturdays, you get this asshole who thinks Diablo 3 is where it's at.
