kingdom hearts 3 WILL happen. grand theft auto has a very low chance to appear on switch but if it does, it will be GTA VI. injustice wont

I wish Nintendo had the rights to some Rare stuff again. Banjo-Kazooie feels like it belongs on switch. (another game in the series would be nice too)
Also A Hat in Time. It's confirmed but they haven't said anything except a Japanese Nintendo Direct said "spring 2019".
Instead of just wii u ports, new Donkey Kong country and Mario Kart games would be cool too.

A remaster of Super Monkey Ball Deluxe (this wont happen)
Beat Saber (for Nintendo Labo VR, may need to add a headstrap and a way to keep the switch in the headset without it flying out the system)
AviLife (upcoming social game for PS4, Xbox One, and PC)
and the list goes on

I really Really REALLY want to play beat saber but i only have 4 gb of ram and i don't have $400 to spend on a headset, so i agree with you about beat saber

Mario Kart 7 was a brand new game and Mario Kart DS was available due to backwards compatibility, not a re-release so it's a totally different situation.

It really doesn't matter if it's company policy "to you" because you're not Nintendo. Even if it *is* or *was* their company policy, company policies change and evolve over time. I'm sure that at least someone at Nintendo has cottoned on to the potential financial benefits of, going forward, releasing a new Mario Kart game towards the /end/ of the Switches (and every next console) lifespan, then re-releasing it as an upgraded game as a lainch title for it's successor.

This way they get to sell two games per console, and get to sell the samee game twice to a certain cross section of their market. They need to keep finding ways to do things like this now they've gone down the hybrid route and only have 1 system bringing in game revenue.

I do not think that your analogy applies.
Mario Kart 8 is a (the?) best-selling Wii U game, released on 2014. One could say that the relatively short lifespan of the Wii U did not justify assigning more resources to the title, but the 3DS was a successful console, Mario Kart 7 was one of its earliest titles, and it never received additional content. And the case of Mario Kart DS on the DS is very similar. For me, it is a company policy.

I would love to receive another Mario Kart on the Switch, at least periodic additional content to keep it 'fresh', but I doubt it.

Personally I really want GameCube games like Mario Sunshine. I suppose a full speed emulator for the GameCube would be too much to ask for, but maybe we could see more ports of those great games!

A perfected version of lets go pikachu/eevee where all pokemon can be caught and its like a giant worldwide safari zone but you can choose between normal capture and go style capture and all the normal stuff in the usual pokemon games are in place as well.

And ive officially drifted off into a wonderful dream where i actually get what i want. Anyways most of what i said above has 0% chance of happening but i can still dream.
